At JDK Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. we know that every home is different and that is how we approach each job. Before we give an estimate for a new system we first need to perform a load calculation on the home. This involves measuring all of the windows, doors, walls, ceiling heights and the amount of insulation in the attic, etc. All of this information, as well as other pertinent information about the construction of the house, is then fed into our Wrightsoft Manual J Load Calculation software via computer (most times this is done at the same time as the estimate) to come up with a custom system for you based on your specific needs. This process not only determines the proper size system required but also the proper duct design to ensure even temperatures in each room.

We do not sell “boxes” but rather a custom air conditioning and heating system. This is why you will never get a price over the phone for a new air conditioning system by JDK Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. Any company that provides a price over the phone without even looking at your home or that uses “rule of thumb” for sizing the system, will almost certainly install a “box” system that most likely will not address all of your needs, and that will cost you money from the day it is installed.
