Problem:
A customer had trouble when entering a temperature change into his thermostat. When the temperature change was entered, the outside unit started, but no hot or cold air came through the ducts.
Solution:
When the JDK technician inspected the customer’s A/C system, he was able to observe the malfunction. The problem was a faulty indoor fan relay and the solution was to replace the fan relay, which he did immediately since he had the part on his truck.

Result:
The A/C system fan starts and shuts off in conjunction with the outdoor unit.
Time Required:
Twenty minutes to locate and fix problem. Total time required including system check: 45 minutes.
